Percepciones ciudadanas sobre el turismo médico en Tijuana: un análisis del impacto social percibido.

Resumen
Este estudio analiza las percepciones de los residentes de Tijuana sobre el impacto social del turismo médico, una actividad económica estratégica en la región fronteriza México-EE.UU. Mediante una encuesta estructurada aplicada a 81 residentes locales y el uso de técnicas estadísticas como el análisis factorial exploratorio y pruebas de confiabilidad, se identificaron siete componentes que estructuran la opinión ciudadana en torno a esta actividad. Los resultados muestran una percepción favorable sobre el desarrollo económico y la calidad de servicios, aunque persisten preocupaciones relacionadas con el acceso equitativo a la atención médica. Se discuten implicaciones para la gestión responsable del turismo médico y se propone un marco orientador de acción socialmente responsable para sus oferentes.
